In addition to using your debit card, credit card, and Dapper Balance to make purchases, you are also able to use cryptocurrency from your preferred wallet to make purchases or add to your Dapper Balance.
The cryptocurrencies we currently support are:
- Ethereum (ETH)
- Bitcoin (BTC)
- Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
- DAI
- USDC
Please note: While crypto transactions are completed using Coinbase Commerce, most crypto wallets, like MetaMask, will work well (some hardware wallets will not). If using Metamask, please ensure that you are using the Ethereum Mainnet and not a different one. Standard network fees will apply to each transaction and, similar to credit card transactions, you will be sent a receipt to your email once the transaction has been completed.
Purchasing With Cryptocurrency
To start the purchase of Dapper Balance or a pack with cryptocurrency, select the cryptocurrency payment method and click the Pay with Crypto tab at the bottom right of your purchase screen:
After making that selection, you will be given info on our supported cryptocurrencies and other related details, before being prompted to enter the Coinbase Commerce flow to make your payment.
Please note: All crypto charges will be shown in USD until you select the cryptocurrency of your choice. It is strongly recommended you pay the full cryptocurrency amount by typing in the full ETH/BTC amount to avoid any errors (under or overpayments).
If you decide to (1) Pay with Coinbase, you will be prompted to sign in to your Coinbase account and complete the flow there. If you decide to (2) Pay Using a Cryptocurrency, you will be provided with the amount of cryptocurrency required and the wallet address to send the payment to. You will be able to copy these directly from the page to input with your preferred wallet.
